The MONTIS+ is the combination of our ultra-light MONTIS harness and the reversible INVERTO carrier. The MONTIS+ is more than just the sum of its two pieces of equipment; it offers comfort, real protection, and incredible versatility. A harness for all mountain activities.
Modular remains. Hike & fly is a science in itself: depending on the type of outing you’re planning, the equipment will change. With the MONTIS +, you’re ready for any eventuality, from an evening splash to an extreme alpine expedition.
Well protected. With its integrated protection, the MONTIS + protects the back and the entire spine. The protection starts below the knees and extends to the cervical vertebrae. This means a high degree of passive protection.
Always comfortable. Whether in flight or on the ground, the MONTIS Plus offers a generous 60-liter storage space, is very comfortable to carry, and offers a relaxed seating position. For a harness of this size and weight, the level of comfort is quite impressive.
Features
Greater comfort. Harnesses with separate leg loops use individual leg loops instead of a seat plate. The result is good maneuverability combined with pleasant cushioning and impressive glide. Performance-limiting roll is minimized.
Ultimate lightness . Harnesses with the Light Weight label are extremely lightweight and perfectly suited to mountaineering. This weight reduction is made possible by an intelligent mix of materials and clever construction.
Friction-lock fastening. The friction buckle is an innovative fastening that doesn’t use a metal buckle. How does it work? Dynema cords are wound around each other. Friction secures them in the desired position. The system is simple and reliable.
Air that protects. Airbags offer an unbeatable weight-to-utility ratio. They’re designed to inflate quickly and provide maximum protection for the rider’s posterior, including the back.
All without compromise. Neither the ideal backpack nor the ideal harness: traditional reversible harnesses have always been a compromise between the two. Our inverted bag eliminates this contradiction.
A perfect fit. Our S and L sizes aren’t just scaled copies of the M size. Each size is individually designed. The result: tailor-made geometry: every rider benefits from an optimal seating position; no more disproportionate « off-the-shelf » geometries!
